During first crushing more steam heating is required. The residual oil content in the pre-pressed cake is about 12%-15%. After first crushing cake of about 10 mm thickness is sent to the second expeller machine where the second crushing takes place. You get about 80% oil during first crushing.
Second crushing is done with more pressure by pressing cake discharge cone. Cake is thinner say 3 mm thickness. Residue in the cake is around 7% only. Now you get 20% oil. So full extraction is done after second crushing.

When process starts for seeds processing till feeding into the multiple expellers human labor was involved as human-being is best elevator and conveyer. If you have only have 1 decorticator and 1 expeller (MINI OIL MILL PLANT) two persons can handle this but when capacity of oil mill plant increase by more no. of expellers, it was remarkable that labors started exhausted due to monotonous work. So to give them relief conveyers and elevators were introduced for material handling and shifting from 1 equipment to the next equipment and so on. Thus, automatic plants came into action and started becoming popular.

Bucket elevators are the part of automatic oil mill setup which help in the material handling method during the operation of oil mill. These bucket elevators are used to lift and elevate the seeds & cake for the feeding purpose. Our assortment of industrial elevators is appropriate for being installed within oil mills of medium to large scale. They increase the efficiency of oil mill by elevating the seeds directly to the expeller. It is mainly used for Verticle lifting.

A screw conveyor is a part of the automatic oil mill system for the material handling process.
The screw conveyor is mainly for carrying and moving of oilseeds and oilcakes horizontally. They convey things from one location to another. The seeds or the seed cakes are carried in bulk to the various machines for feeding and processing purpose. The screw conveyor consists of a shaft with a broad helical-wound blade rotating in a semicircular tube or trough. You can see conveyors in videos. In our conveyors you can change speed by changing pulleys. We make & fit own gear boxes, so that after long run, you can change small gears where as in other make, entire gear box need to change.
